I was born in the US but not in a state. Can you guess where? Washington DC!
I grew up in Missouri and Utah, USA. Leah grew up in country New South Wales and Perth, Australia, where our kids were born. We now live in Utah.

Sure!
When did you start writing?
I began with poems and stories. I also tried drawing, but I felt I could tell stories better with words than images. Thankfully there are other people who can draw really well!
What job do you do besides writing?
I learn how to teach sixth graders how to love learning.
I love being with my family. I also like thinking of questions to answer, problems to solve, games to play, and songs to sing–which means doing a lot of writing and doodling journals and notebooks.
I also like playing the didgeridoo.
What do you do for fun?
